Job Description: 

You are responsible for managing assigned customer accounts including payments, unpaid invoices and resolution of claims, prepare and submit required reports and ensure sustainable motivation and talent development within the team. You will build and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders and service providers.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure sustainable motivation and talent development within the team by providing adequate support and guidance
  • Manage assigned customer accounts guaranteeing accuracy and completeness by performing monthly analysis of debtors accounts and identifying potential bad debt customers
  • To manage order releases within the trading terms granted to the customer that is within the credit limit and not to supply when payment is overdue.
  • Measure the flow of claims into the various workflow platforms within shared services and remedy slow pace of claims upload. Ensure claims are uploaded into the correct platform (SharePoint / File Director / 3PL database). Put in corrective measures for non-compliance.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting and highlight current issues and risks on specific customers for the Credit Supervisors attention.
  • To ensure an efficient claims resolution environment by managing the document flow and keeping open communication with the customer managers.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience in FMCG credit controller environment
  • Matric
  • An acceptable level of assertiveness
  • Oracle AR Knowledge – Advantageous
  • Excel intermediate skills
  • Communication skills
