Job Description:

Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a Sales Development Representative that is responsible for “opening doors” for our sales team, connecting with new businesses or new prospects at existing customers. You will work with the Digital Business team and sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities. We will train you on the overall value proposition of the solutions you are selling to be able to quickly communicate the message to prospects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new opportunities for cross and up selling
  • Improve conversion rates, e.g. manual to digital orders, digital quotes to orders
  • Adapt and drive Sales campaigns for digital sales customers (coordinate BU campaigns on LinkedIn)
  • Qualifies and categorizes customers by gaining insight into customer’s business model and identifies business potential through digital channels (ZoomInfo, Bombora, LinkedIn)
  • Use digital sales engagement(Outreach) to respond and interact with prospects based on its preferences within a marketing funnel
  • Implements tactics which are in line with the overall mission statement to sell products or services online, interface to IT Support
  • Identifies the buyer’s role and level of participation in the decision process
  • Use digital software tools that are aligned to the digital customer journey
  • Development of strategies to help the sales organization convert prospects
  • Enrich and profile our databases (Eloqua, Outreach and Salesforce)
  • Build prospect interest in the products and services offered by Siemens DI through web, social media, e-mail and cold calling
  • Ensure a fast and easy connection of customers to the digital environment
  • Systematically follow-up on qualification activities to develop total qualified opportunities that produce an above average close rate

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of marketing and sales funnels as well as lead generation
  • Experience in online marketing and digital engagement tools to qualify leads such as LinkedIn/CRM etc (Advantageous)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales marketing preferably in the B2B industry
  • Experience with creating and maintaining digital campaigns on various social media platforms
  • Relevant Degree/Diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent
