Job Description:

Ensure profitability by achieving the expected standards on sales and income through the daily management of retail staff productivity within the branch

Job Responsibilities:

  • Management, control and optimization of stock to drive sales
  • Optimize service processes within the branch to enable staff to provide excellent customer service
  • Continuously meet all service evaluation criteria
  • Ensure optimum trade operating profit is achieved by effectively controlling and managing all store expenses
  • Recruit, develop and manage direct reports
  • Bi-annual assessment of staff performance

Job Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Retail Management / Business Diploma advantageous
  • SAP experience advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years retail management experience in a AGRI environment
  • A minimum of 3 years Management / Supervisory experience
  • Proven track record of driving sales
  • Stock management
  • Knowledge of Merchandising principles and Space optimization
  • Planning and implementation of promotional activities
  • Industrial Relations and Employee Relations experience
  • Relevant Operation, Administration and Financial Management
  • Computer Literacy in MS Office and Intermediate Excel
