To create, lead and manage a buying department in PEP.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Strategy management
  • People Management and Development
  • Supplier management, sourcing suppliers and products
  • Optimise profitability
  • Lead the buying business process for Clothing
  • Trend Forecasting

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Purchasing Management or Clothing
  • 5 years buying and leadership experience, preferably in different departments
  • Competencies Market orientation , Performing under pressure, Innovating, Helicopter view, Leadership skills, Decision making abilities, Presentation skills; Negotiation skills; Meeting facilitation skills
  • Extensive retail knowledge and experience
  • Financial management skills; In-depth understanding of the buying process; Understanding of the planning process; Knowledge of the Supply chain processes; Market understanding; Product knowledge, and Sound business and commercial acumen & judgment
  • Computer literacy
