Job Description:

Provide inputs and optimization opportunities to Risk Management Standard Operating Procedures, Tools, Reporting templates and Technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide inputs and optimization to Risk Management Training and Awareness Programs, and assist in delivery of the Programs.
  • Monitor compliance to the Risk Management Sops and Risk Management Plan.
  • Assist with risk management planning, administration, quality control and reporting.
  • Maintain and manage the Risk Management Document Management System.
  • Provide inputs to optimize the risk management IT Systems and Tools.
  • Manage and maintain the risk management IT system including updating the system with risk information.

Job Requirements:

  • Certification by the Institute of Risk Management will be advantageous.
  • Meticulous and attention to detail.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of risk management processes, frameworks and in particular of the ISO 31000 standard for risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Risk Management IT Systems.
  • Should be able to work under time pressure.
  • At least 3 years’ practical risk management work experience in a similar role.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Understanding of medical scheme industry will be advantageous.
  • A 3-year Degree or Diploma with risk management or equivalent NQF level 6.
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders.
